Photography: Course Fees and allied expenses

We have discussed the various types photography that can be pursued as a career option in my previous post- “Photography: Education and types of photographers.” Since we are considering photography being evolved from hobby to professional career now, it is worth considering the best training options. In this post, I will discuss about the best photography institutes of the world and India. Besides we will also discuss the approximate course fees in international and Indian institutes. Below is the list of some of the best institutes international followed by Indian Institutes.

Indian Institutes:

For admission in such institutes I would suggest aspirants should google the name in the lists and check out their norms. The sites also have course fees information in them, so students can actually get the precise information. Most of the institutes have their own style of admission, it is important that they are well understood. You would find a little disparity in course fees of Indian institutes. Like the best- Sir JJ school of Art cost only around INR 300 per month fees. And, you will also find course fees around INR 500,000.

Besides the course fees, there is an extra cost of living, which will depend on case to case. Also, there is an expense of camera and other apparatuses. These will add an additional $1500 to $5000 to the total course expense.

I feel that I have covered more or less all important aspects to consider Photography as career. I wish all aspirants all the best. Sky is the limit... go and achieve your dreams.
